An open archway leads to the fully equipped kitchen, with views towards the castle. Returning to the spacious living room on the right is a double bedroom and a family bathroom. In front an archway gives access to two other double bedrooms and the second bathroom.

Vélez Blanco is on the slope of the Sierra del Maimón, a few hundred meters above Vélez Rubio. It is the smaller of the two towns. This wonderful location gives you extraordinary views over the Blanco Valley and beyond.…

It is a beautiful postcard town that is dominated by an impressive castle. The Castillo del Marqués de los Vélez was built in 1506 on the hillside above the town and from here you can see all of Vélez Blanco.

Although it is very rural and quiet without industry, the area offers everything. Excellent road and motorway networks with very little traffic make the four airports that serve the area easily accessible. Alicante Airport approximately 1 hour 50 minutes, Almería 1 hour 30 minutes, Granada 1 hour 45 minutes and Corvera / Murcia 1 hour 15 minutes.

It is located just 40 minutes from the historic center of Lorca and 50 minutes from the coastal town of Águilas and its beautiful beaches.
